Hi all,
As some of you were eager to point out, the Aquifer forums were down when we updated Paper to 1.11. While the PaperMC team does not manage Aquifer itself, we worked with the team who does to assist in any way possible. Sure enough, Aquifer is back up. So let's talk.
Paper 1.11
Edit: 2016-12-20: Paper for 1.11.1 has been released.
EditEdit: and Paper for 1.11.2
Paper 1.11 has been released and has been surprisingly stable for such an immediate release. It performs nearly identically to the later releases of 1.10.2, and now perhaps even slightly better. Indeed, it was a relatively small update from Mojang. The biggest thing holding up any server from updating should be plugin releases. As with any major update, the NMS revision has changed so plugins accessing server internals will need to be updated.
As always, and especially after an update like this, those of you on 1.11 builds should be staying up to date as new builds come out, and always...

With quite the haste I merged the BungeeCord 1.11 update into Waterfall little over a week ago. As a notice to those not in the know, we now only support Minecraft version supported by upstream (1.8.x, 1.9.x, 1.10.x, 1.11) you'll find Travertine fills the void for you there.
As usual @Mylescomputer has added support to his wonderful ViaVersion plugin, which can now work on the proxy-level! (although server owners please do not use this as an excuse not to update your servers!)
You can find the Waterfall 1.11 builds over here: https://ci.destroystokyo.com/job/Waterfall/
As per usual you can report issues both here on the Aquifer forums and on our Issue Tracker.

Hi all,
Just a quick but important update for today.
We've updated our Nexus Repository to version 3.0 today, as a result the maven repository's URL has changed.
Our public repo can now be found here:
Thanks

So today, Mojang released Minecraft 1.10, even a little sooner than they apparently thought. Despite this, upstream was quick to update. We began working on our own update shortly thereafter and, as of now, I'm proud to say that Paper for Minecraft 1.10 is available.
Now, as many of you know, the first release of a major update is always a little shaky. So update often, update before you report issues, update before you take showers, update before you eat, and update when you get done updating. Make sure you have backups, and make sure you know what you're getting into.
This update comes just as 1.9.4 was starting to become stable, as such, we understand that most servers will not be jumping onto this build immediately, nor should they. There is still some internal debate around this issue, but we may offer limited support for 1.9.4 for the near future, or at least until this all settles down.
The latest build...

Thanks to joserobjr, waterfall now supports 1.10 in addition to 1.9.x and 1.8.x!
Since @Mylescomputer added 1.10 support to ViaVersion, if you update your waterfall and add ViaVersion to your servers, you can get 1.10 support without waiting to update spigot!
This will allow you to stem the tide of players going crazy about not being able to join your server when they update to 1.10 and "can't figure out how to downgrade".
Get the 1.10 version of Waterfall here: https://ci.aquifermc.org/job/Waterfall/10/
Get the 1.10 version of ViaVersion here: https://aquifermc.org/resources/viaversion.12/
Plans for when upstream updates
When upstream adds 1.10 support, we'll drop our own patch in favor of theirs.
if upstream drops 1.8 support, we'll drop 1.8 support too.
However, 1.8 support will still remain in...
